How is the GTA new home market actually doing?
The market has split this year, and which side of the split a project sits on now matters more than the address does.

The four figures above come from Altus Group, BILD's official source of new home market intelligence, July 2026, released 27 August 2026. Urbanation's second quarter release adds the part that changes what you do about it. New condominium sales across the GTHA rose fifty two per cent to 702 units, the first annual gain since 2023, and effectively all of that gain was in finished buildings. Sales of completed condominiums more than tripled to 535, while preconstruction sales fell eighty per cent to 50 units. Someone looking at a tower launching in 2029 and someone looking at a finished suite are in two different markets right now.
What do we publish that a listing site does not?
Every preconstruction listing shows you a rendering and a starting price. Almost none of them show you the deposit schedule, what you will pay during interim occupancy, whether the occupancy date is tentative or firm, or whether you are allowed to assign. Those are the terms that decide whether the purchase works. We publish them, and we put the source beside each figure so you can check us.
